On the 21st of November 2009, Andy was the lighting director at the YFC Eisteddfod final at the theatre Venue Cymru in Llandudno in Wales. This project was rather rushed because the planning meeting and technical recce were held 4 days before the event that was being recorded. ELP provided a selection of moving lights and tungsten lights for the show, as well as 2 truss squares and circles. The event was recorded for 13 hours and will be shown on S4C later in the year. This OB was particularly challenging as the time schedules were so tight. The planning meeting was held on the Tuesday the 17th of November, and the event was held 4 days later! The plot was done the day after the planning meeting, and the Van of equipment was loaded the next day. The overnight rig started at Midnight on Friday, and the fine light started at 8am the next morning. 2.5 hours later the audience were coming in (a very short time for a fine light on an outside broadcast) and we were recording by 11 am. 

The Production team were very happy with the results, and so am I. With the short lead time and even shorter setting time, it had a strong look that was easily changeable.
