I was asked to be the Lighting Director for the 2010 Christmas Lectures at the Royal Institution of Great Britain. The Christmas Lectures were directed by David Coleman, produced by Windfall Films and recorded in December 2010. They were 1st shown on BBC 4 on the 28th, 29th and 30th of December 2010 at 8pm. CLICK HERE TO WATCH on the YouTube Pre-visualisations for the Christmas Lectures The gallery below shows a selection of the pre-visualisations demonstrating how I intended the 2010 lectures to look. These visualisations are to scale and enable you to see what a certain camera shot would look like. They can also demonstrate the perspective of a person sat at a certain chair.
Shots taken from the Christmas Lectures These grabs of the transmission show how the renders above look similar to the finished to the transmitted programme.
